CMGC in Action:  How Early Planning Delivered at Black Rock Elementary

A Real World Example of Planning Early, Procuring Early and Building Efficiently


We talk a lot about the benefits of bringing the general contractor into a project early.


Better planning.  Better coordination.  More control over the budget.  Fewer surprises during construction.  But what does that actually look like when it works? 


LSE Builders Group's recent project at Black Rock Elementary for St. Vrain Valley School District is a great example. 

The project involved an audio visual refresh of 33 classrooms, including demolition of the existing systems, electrical modifications, low-voltage work, new data connections, installation support, and testing.


Through the CMGC process, LSE was able to plan the work well before construction began, identify procurement needs early, and develop a sequencing plan with our subcontractors.


The result:  the project was completed on budget and on schedule.
