Project Overview

LSE Builders Group partnered with St. Vrain Valley School District using a CMGC delivery method to complete an audio/visual refresh across 33 classrooms at Black Rock Elementary. The project included removing the existing A/V systems, electrical and low-voltage work, new data connections, installation support for new classroom technology, and final testing.

With a limited summer construction window, preparation and sequencing were key. Before gaining access to the school, LSE measured and pre-cut the plywood and blocking needed to support the new classroom monitors, allowing installation to begin immediately following demolition. Once on site, our team carefully sequenced each trade to work directly behind the next, moving efficiently from classroom to classroom.

Early planning and procurement helped keep materials and equipment ready when needed, while close coordination between LSE, the District, and our trade partners kept the work moving. The project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget, giving Black Rock Elementary updated classroom technology and a smooth transition into the new school year.

Project Overview

LSE was brought on to complete the CU Bookstore buildout within the Limelight Hotel in Boulder, working alongside the hotel’s general contractor and coordinating closely with the University of Colorado team. With multiple groups involved and an active construction environment around us, the project required constant communication and a willingness to adapt as design and field conditions evolved.

What stands out in the finished space is the balance of clean, modern retail with warm, Colorado-inspired elements alongside University branding. The exposed brick, wood tones, and open layout create a welcoming environment, while the lighting and ceiling details add a polished, contemporary feel. From the millwork to the fixture installation, a high level of finish quality was a priority throughout, ensuring the space feels intentional, cohesive, and ready for daily use.

Project Overview

Boulder Valley Education Association’s 3320 square foot space got a much-needed transformation, creating a more functional and welcoming environment for the team to focus on their mission—supporting education in the community. The renovation went beyond just aesthetics; it reimagined the space to better serve their needs. Walls were added to create more defined areas, and two restrooms were remodeled, with an additional ADA-compliant bathroom ensuring accessibility for all. A new breakroom—complete with a kitchen sink and dishwasher—provides a comfortable spot for staff to recharge. Mechanical and electrical upgrades make the space more efficient and user-friendly. Adding a partition wall and new AV equipment made the space both practical and professional. Now, Boulder Valley Education Association has a refreshed, well-equipped space that truly supports their work in advocating for educators and students.

University of Colorado Boulder-Laboratory

Project Overview

LSE Builders Group, as a standard order contractor, completed an interior renovation of an existing laboratory space at the University of Colorado Boulder, transforming it into a dedicated student advising suite. The project involved partitioning the lab from the common corridor to create a functional and private advising environment. To support the new layout, we modified the existing HVAC system for optimal airflow, updated electrical systems to accommodate new power needs, and enhanced lighting for a more welcoming and efficient space. Our team carefully selected and installed finishes that seamlessly matched the existing design, ensuring a cohesive look that blended with the surrounding university spaces.
